The fall of the Morning Star

This was a very, very quick sketch, an idea I just wanted to get on paper to see if the concept worked. It didn't really as I'm thinking of a far better way to depict this particular event.

The event in question is of course the fall of the Morning Star, or Lucifer. If anyone has any comments and suggestions on how to best depict this particular event, then I'm up for hearing them as it's something I really want to get on paper.

Lucifer has his wings taken by Metatron, and although this is not described in any particular detail anywhere, I was thinking about having them immolated; being burnt from his back. Again, if anyone has any better suggestions please let me know.

This particular picture was drawn - in a hurry - with pen and pencil crayon. In hindsight (and if I'd had the time) the flames would have been better if I'd drawn them with pastels.
